Lawrence VBRA has been creating the most amazing large scale collectible jewellery for decades that blends, my favourite things, vintage components and contemporary design.
In this particular brooch he has combined a carved horn Scorpion with stunning Mogul Jewel coloured pressed glass cabochons and rhinestones .
The combination of stunning components has created a piece that looks like traditional Mogul jewellery but with a slightly playful twist .
The creativity, craftsmanship , ingenuity, playfulness and drama in this divine brooch is truly beautiful.
Larry Vrba now in his mid eighties is only making occasional pieces for Saks 5th Avenue and his closest friends theses days, making his early work like this incredibly collectible.
